Egypt Fire Department Proudly serving the Egypt Fire District, in the Town of Perinton, Monroe County, New York since 1946. The Egypt Fire Association is made up of approximately 50+ volunteer members who reside and/or work in our area of responsibility. We provide both Fire Protection, Rescue and EMS 1st Response services within our response area. This response area covers approximately 20 square miles of the Southeast corner of the Town of Perinton with a population of approximately 10,000 residents. We respond to an average of 325 alarms per year.

Fairport Fire Department The dedicated volunteers of the Fairport Fire Department operate fire, rescue, and emergency medical units 24 hours a day, working out of two strategically located stations. Our district is approximately 15 square miles and protects the village of Fairport and a large portion of the town of Perinton. Station 1 houses two engines, one quint/aerial, one heavy rescue and one EMS squad. Station 2 houses two engines and one EMS squad. The department consists of over one hundred members, more than 70 of which are active fire fighters protecting the lives and property of over 25,000 residents.
Fairport Lions Club Since 1949 the Fairport Lions Club has been a member of the world's largest and most active service club organization dedicated to community service and improvement. Lions Clubs help provide guide dogs for the blind, work on worldwide blindness prevention, and contribute to many local charities. Fairport Music Festival The Fairport Music Festival is held annually to feature a chorus of local and regional bands providing two-days of music. Each year the event draws visitors from Fairport and points far beyond with a family-friendly environment that includes kids activities, food trucks in addition to 6 stages of music. We are proud of the fact that the event has raised over $2,021,827 for the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong â€œ recognized as one of the best children's hospitals in the United States. Fairport Rotary Club Fairport Rotary...Service Above Self: Rotary is an opportunity to build lifelong friendships and experience the personal fulfillment of providing volunteer service to others. We run two major annual events to give away funds to charities: Savor the Flavor of Fairport (first Sunday in March) and Make A Difference Day pasta dinner. Fresh Air for the Eastside FAFE Fresh Air for the Eastside, Inc.'s (FAFE) one and only goal is to restore the right to clean, fresh air, to the entire eastside of Rochester New York. Permanent cap and closure of the Perinton side of the landfill Reduced intake from 3,500 tons per day to 1,750 tons per day to eliminate NYC intake Reduced height for the Macedon expansion, to keep the elevation consistent with the Perinton cells of the landfill In the fall of 2017, FAFE arose from the need to address key community concerns regarding High Acres: Waste Management (WM) denial of an ongoing odor nuisance issue - Limited responses from WM leadership which denied, downplayed, and created excuses for odor complaints Lack of accurate, easily accessible, and digestible information around the issue - Town Resources, WM-provided materials, and on-site visits did not provide adequate or consistent facts on the history and current operations at High Acres Lack of verification that complaints were received, logged, and actioned a WM's 24-hour complaint line left residents with no visibility to how a complaint was followed-up on, and to who the complaint was provided visibility As of December, 2019, there are 3,300+ concerned residents throughout the Perinton, Macedon, Penfield, Walworth, Gananda and Victor areas of upstate New York have joined our Facebook group. Disclaimer: The directors of FAFE, Inc. do not have any political aspirations or agendas. There is no monetary value that will settle this issue. The one goal of FAFE, Inc. is, and will continue to be, to restore and preserve our community's right to fresh air. FAFE is a certified 501(c)(3) organization. These experts help FAFE and Knauf Shaw LLC better understand and clearly portray to the court the impact High Acres has had on our community. FAFE's goal is not to receive a monetary reimbursement from this lawsuit, but to fix the issues plaguing our community. Membership in our post - as in any other VFW post - is limited to those who were awarded an approved campaign ribbon or combat action badge listed in the bylaws of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.
